“Bringing Light to What’s Been Silenced”
No More Secrets Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to addressing the often-ignored issue of domestic violence within the church and community. Our mission is to break the silence, provide support, and help survivors heal—spiritually, emotionally, and practically. We are a voice for those who have been silenced, offering a safe space for individuals to share their truth without shame or judgment.
At No More Secrets, we endeavor to:
Host support groups to foster healing.
Partner with church leadership to educate and equip them on how to properly identify, respond to, and prevent domestic abuse within their congregations.
Organize community forums in houses of worship to shed light on the abuse many parishioners endure and to promote open, honest dialogue.
No More Secrets is where healing begins and silence ends. Let’s unmask the pain and walk together toward freedom.
Words from Our Founder
I never thought I’d find myself in an abusive marriage. I had already seen domestic violence up close through a family member, but I never imagined I’d become a victim myself. When I finally confided in church leadership, I was told to separate, get counseling, and then reconcile. I was even advised not to speak to my family about what I was going through. That advice kept me bound in silence and shame.
After I left my ex-husband, I found myself in prayer asking God, “What am I supposed to do with my life now?” I saw a vision of myself serving people. In another moment of prayer, I heard the words “No More Secrets.” I didn’t fully understand it at the time—but when I shared it with someone, the revelation came. I wasn’t the only one who had gone through abuse in the church and felt like they had to keep it a secret. I knew I had to do something.
So I did.
That’s how No More Secrets was born—an organization created to help those who are dealing with or have survived domestic violence, especially within the church. There are many organizations doing great work in this field, but not enough are speaking directly to the faith-based community. It’s time to break the silence. It’s time to bring light to what’s been hidden for far too long.
No more silence.
No more shame.
No more secrets.
